It all started with slight pain in his stomach. The pain then continued to get worse and needless to say it ended up being Appendicitis. We got to the Emergency Room at around 9 pm and waited and waited and waited. Finally after 3 hrs of waiting and Scott being in intense pain he was seen by a doctor. They quickly determined it was his appendix and needed to take it out immediately. At about 1:15 am they wheeled him away but because it wasn't long enough since the last time he ate. So they decided to do the surgery first thing in the morning.
So we waited until they got a room for him and had him stay the night there.
He was on major pain meds at this point.
At 6 am they took him into surgery and about 1 hr and 30 minutes later, he came back to his room. He felt a little groggy and sore after but seemed to be doing much better.
Later that day they had a volunteer roaming the hospital. A cute little golden retriever named Lilly. This definitely made Scott's day. He was already missing his own puppies at home and this made him feel just a little bit better.
